[FIXED] Navigation Tree Options

We've had two instances where all of a sudden the *Master Navigation Tree drops options. Most recently it was all of the Valence Demo options and a few of the Administration Options. We've also lost the folder and options for the Drudge Report and the CNX external link. They remain available but have to be manually added back to the *Master Navigation Tree should we want to use them.

Also we have a few options we've created and deleted but they don't stay deleted - they reappear as available options. I even dragged one to the trash and emptied the trash, logged out and back in and they reappeared as available options. And now I can no longer drag them to the trash.

There is a bug in the Valence navigation tree maintenance program that causes this occasionally. What we have found in testing is that when you save the navigation tree the old version gets deleted and then the new navigation tree is rebuilt based on your edits. If you press "Save" to save the navigation tree but interrupt the browser by refreshing the page, logging out or closing the browser before the navigation tree is rebuilt, the process will get interrupted and can result in lost folders and options on the tree. We are testing an update to the navigation tree maintenance program that will fix this issue in an upcoming release. Until then a simple workaround is to wait 5 seconds after saving the navigation tree and before refreshing the page. This will ensure that the navigation tree is fully rebuilt before changing the page.
